Provided are an activity reminder method, and an activity reminder message generation method and apparatus. The method may comprise: a client receiving a reminder message generation instruction with regard to an activity type; the client determining an object to be reminded and activity description information corresponding to the activity type; and the client sending a reminder message to the object to be reminded, wherein the reminder message includes the activity description information. By means of the technical solution of the present application, an activity reminder can be implemented rapidly.
