A drill device assembly (1), comprising a drill device (2) having at least one movable component (2a), wherein when in use, a fluid flow is directed past the movable component and said movable component moves with respect to the remaining drill device assembly. An inlet flow route (3) for receiving a fluid flow from a portion of a drill string preceding the drill device assembly and conducting said fluid flow past the at least one movable component, and a discharge flow route (4) for discharging fluid flow from the at least one movable component are provided. At least one capturing element (5a, 5b, 5c) is provided in the inlet flow route for recovering particles from a fluid flow. A drill string assembly, and a backhead of a percussion device and an engaging member of a check valve for use in such a drill device assembly are also concerned.
