AN APPARATUS FOR MONITORING THE PULSE OF A PERSON AND A METHOD THEREOF

A wearable device in the form of a tee-shirt (100) is provided. Each sleeve (101) of the tee-shirt (100) has an electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor (103) or a ballistocardiogram (BCG) sensor (701) and a photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor (203) for monitoring pulses (401,403,405) of a person wearing the tee-shirt (100). The tee-shirt (100) makes possible the comparison of the pulses (401,403,405) down the two arms. The pulse-transit-time, pulse amplitude, pulse spread and pulse shape may be compared to observe any difference between the left and right side of the person.
