The present invention relates to the field of transparent conductive films, and particularly relates to a silver nanowire-based transparent conductive film. The silver nanowire-based transparent conductive film comprises a flexible substrate (2) and silver nanowires overlaid on the flexible substrate (2). The silver nanowires are flattened and connected, forming an interconnected network of the silver nanowires that have undergone plastic deformation from a cylindrical shape into an elongated strip shape. The silver nanowires of the transparent conductive film are embedded in the flexible substrate (2), and are flattened and connected therebetween, thus providing tight contact and a large contact area without requiring any additional adhesive. The resulting transparent conductive film has an optical transmittance up to 85-90%, a sheet resistance lowered to 30-50 Ω/square, and a haze of 3-15.
