An automatic irrigation device (100) comprises: a fertilizer mixing device, connected with one end of an auto-circulation device, wherein the fertilizer mixing device is used for preparing a nutrient solution and conveying the nutrient solution to the auto-circulation device; an adjustment device, wherein one end of the adjustment device is connected to the other end of the auto-circulation device, the other end of the adjustment device is connected to the fertilizer mixing device, and the adjustment device is used to adjust concentration of the nutrient solution in the auto-circulation device; and a waste liquid discharge device, connected to the auto-circulation device, wherein the waste liquid discharge device is used to discharge the nutrient solution in the auto-circulation device. A control method for automatic irrigation comprises: a fertilizer mixing device prepares a nutrient solution and conveys the nutrient solution to an auto-circulation device, and a sensor of the auto-circulation device is controlled to detect the current concentration of the nutrient solution in the auto-circulation device; if the current concentration is less than a first preset threshold, the adjustment device controls the fertilizer mixing device to re-prepare the nutrient solution; the sensor of the auto-circulation device is controlled to detect the current mineral value of the nutrient solution in the auto-circulation device; and if the current mineral value is greater than a second preset threshold, the waste liquid discharge device is controlled to discharge the nutrient solution.
