A language-based game method for generating cognitive ability data can comprise the steps of: displaying a plurality of game type icons on a screen; receiving a first user input for any one of the plurality of game type icons; determining a first game type in response to the first user input; displaying, on the screen, a plurality of icons including at least one of a word, a morpheme, and a phoneme; receiving a second user input for any one of the plurality of icons; and generating the cognitive ability data on the basis of the second user input.
