The present invention is applicable to the technical field of computers and provides a virtual machine migration method and device for a cluster server, a server and a storage medium. The method comprises : when preset virtual machine access optimization time arrives, a source host obtains user information of an access user; the source host analyzes the obtained user information to obtain a destination host of virtual machine migration, and sends a virtual machine migration request to the destination host; the destination host receives the virtual machine migration request, determines whether to receive the virtual machine migration, and sends the determination result to the source host; when the determination result is to receive the virtual machine migration, the source host establishes a connection with the destination host, and sends migration data corresponding to the virtual machine migration to the destination host; the destination host receives the migration data and starts a corresponding virtual machine according to the received migration data. Therefore, timely and automatic migration of a virtual machine in a cluster server is implemented, and the quality of service of the cluster server and the migration efficiency of the virtual machine are improved.
