The present invention relates to a method for rapidly providing a medium-concentration or trace element nutrient ingredient for a granular fertilizer, wherein a granular fertilizer is placed into a mixing apparatus, and a layer of medium-concentration or trace element nutrient is sprayed directly on the surface of the granular fertilizer according to a measurement requirement. The medium-concentration or trace element nutrient comprises, according to mass ratio, 33%-76.3% of a medium-concentration or trace element ingredient, 1%-5% of a dispersing agent, 1%-5% of a wetting agent, 1%-5% of a film forming agent, 0.5%-5% of a film forming aid, 0.1%-5% of a filler, 20%-40% of water, and 0.1%-2% of a pigment. The present invention has the following advantages: a layer of medium-concentration or trace element nutrient layer is rapidly and efficiently formed on the surface of a fertilizer, thereby effectively isolating a metal element to prevent a double decomposition reaction of the metal element with ions in the fertilizer system, ensuring the effectiveness of the added trace element, and making the fertilizer more suitable for BB fertilizer blending; no additional drying is required; an adding process is simple; no return material is produced, and formula switching is flexible; the fertilizer can be marked with a color, a medium-concentration or trace nutrient can carry different colors during coating, thereby distinguishing the fertilizer from ordinary fertilizers, and better meeting requirements for color marking of BB fertilizer formulation.
