The present invention relates to the field of fibers and method of manufacturing fibers which can be used in numerous validating and/or security applications. More specifically, the present invention provides a fiber having multi-chromatic properties which allow the fiber to exhibit different colors when viewed under special viewing conditions. The principal application of the fiber of the present invention is use as a security feature in tenders such as currency notes, passports, fiduciary documents, and the like.
