A powder sintering 3D printing system and a powder supply method. The system comprises a forming working platform (5) capable of moving up and down, a powder spreading roller (6), and a supply cylinder (4) and a collection cylinder (3) provided on two sides of the forming working platform (5). The powder spreading roller (6) moves between the supply cylinder (4) and the collection cylinder (3); after completing powder spreading and sintering of one layer, the forming working platform (5) lowers one layer in the section height; during a product forming process, the powder supply volume of the supply cylinder (4) corresponds to the powder volume demanded in product forming. The powder supply volume changes adaptively along with the change of the sectional area of a formed product, so that accurate supply of powder is implemented, a waste of powder is avoided, and costs are greatly reduced.
