Disclosed is a method for configuring local consensus based on a block chain. The method comprises the steps of initializing a plurality of nodes, and creating a local consensus example for a set of nodes selected from the plurality of nodes. Also disclosed are a corresponding computer readable storage medium and a device for configuring local consensus based on the block chain. The device comprises an initializing module configured to initialize the plurality of nodes; and a local consensus configuration module configured to create the local consensus example for one set of nodes selected from the plurality of nodes. According to the method for configuring local consensus based on the block chain provided by the present invention, some of associated nodes can be selected from the plurality of nodes forming the block chain, so as to create the local consensus example among the selected nodes, and thus the situation that the local consensus example can be achieved by selecting an expected consensus algorithm is ensured, so as to optimize a network and improve network service quality.
