A reference pitch determination unit acquires, as an object pitch name, a pitch name to be generated by a user, and determines, as a reference pitch, the pitch corresponding to the acquired object pitch name, on the basis of tuning information. The tuning information shows the relational relationship between the pitch and a pitch name of a prescribed temperament. The prescribed temperament is, for example, well temperament. An acquisition unit acquires, as a user pitch, the pitch generated by a user. A presentation unit presents differential information showing the differential between the determined reference pitch and the acquired user pitch.
