A rock core orienting apparatus based on geomagnetic field, relating to the technical field of well-drilling coring. Comprising a drill bit (1), a rock core cylinder, and a rock core claw (3), the upper end of the rock core cylinder being connected to the rock core claw, and the lower end thereof being connected to a drill cylinder, the rock core cylinder comprising an outer rock core cylinder (6) and an inner rock core cylinder (4), the inner rock core cylinder being suspended on the top of the outer rock core cylinder, a rotating circular disc (12) being mounted on the bottom part of the inner rock core cylinder, the bottom of the circular disc being provided with a magnetic needle (13) used for indicating direction and an inkpad (14) for marking the direction. The present invention solves the technical problems in the prior art of the orientation of the rock core orienting apparatus being inaccurate and the specific implementation effects being poor. Also disclosed are a coring apparatus and a usage method therefor. The present rock core orienting apparatus determines the direction of coring by means of the geomagnetic field, and is beneficial for ensuring coring integrity, increasing coring efficiency, and overcoming the shortcomings in past coring processes.
