The embodiments of the present application provide a sound volume adjustment method and apparatus, a storage medium, and a terminal device, the method comprising: acquiring the signal strength of a positioning signal of a terminal device, and determining, according to the signal strength, the type of environment at which the terminal device is located; determining, according to the type of environment and the stored pre-set adjustment table, corresponding sound volume adjustment information; and adjusting, according to the sound volume adjustment information, the sound volume of the terminal device.
