Provided are a production method for a chicken manure fertilizer which allows a reduction in the number of times the fertilizer is to be applied, and provides a uniform fertilization effect, and a chicken manure fertilizer produced by the production method. In this production method for a chicken manure fertilizer, after the water content of chicken manure is adjusted to 20-25 mass%, the chicken manure is pelletized into chicken manure pellets having a maximum length of 5-20 mm, and the chicken manure pellets are immersed in a liquid paraffin obtained by melting paraffin wax by heating, whereby a chicken manure fertilizer having, on the surfaces of chicken manure pellets having a maximum length of 5-20 mm, a paraffin wax layer having a thickness of 0.5-1 mm, is produced.
