This accommodation reservation system is provided with: a room reservation database which registers reservation information for each accommodation room on a per date basis; a room information database which registers room information for each accommodation room; a reservation search unit which, upon receiving a reservation status inquiry including a date, reads, from the room reservation database, rooms which are available and for which no reservation information has been registered for the date included in the reservation status inquiry; and a room search unit which reads, from the room information database, room information about the available rooms read by the reservation search unit, and outputs the read room information. The accommodation reservation system provides the reservation information to a user. Upon viewing this reservation information, the user selects a room in which the user wishes to stay, and inputs, into the accommodation reservation system, a reservation request including the selected room and the date on which the user wishes to stay in the room. The accommodation reservation system is provided with a reservation registration unit which registers, in the room reservation database, reservation information associated with the room and date that are included in the reservation request.
