According to the method, a developer prepares a software project setup task configuration file, a system resource (namely, a system environment) required for running a setup task is automatically configured according to the setup task configuration file, and the system resource is automatically mounted on a Jenkins master. In addition, on the basis of a dependency relationship in the setup task configuration file, software and a Jenkins plugin required by the setup task are automatically configured. Finally, a Jenkins setup task is automatically created according to a task definition in the setup task configuration file. A user only needs to maintain the setup task configuration file, and the system automatically analyzes the setup task configuration file to automatically configure and create a setup task, such that the user does not need to perform operations using a graphical interface. The invention is easy to operate, and has high efficiency. In addition, the user only needs to maintain the setup task configuration file, reducing maintenance cost.
