PET INTERACTION METHOD AND RETRACTABLE PET LEASH

A pet interaction method and a retractable pet leash, the method being applied to retractable pet leashes. The retractable pet leash comprises a housing (10) and a winding rope (20) that is accommodated within the housing (10), a light-emitting body (30) being disposed on the housing (10). The method comprises the following steps: detecting whether the winding rope (20) is drawn out; if detected that the winding rope (20) of the retractable pet leash is drawn out, controlling the light-emitting body (30) on the housing (10) of the retractable pet leash to emit light such that a pet may, while running, play with the light or a light spot game that is emitted by the light-emitting body (30), thereby achieving interaction with the pet; thus, a function of pet interaction is added to the retractable pet leash, thereby increasing the fun for the pet in playing, reducing the loneliness of the pet when the pet is alone, and being beneficial for the physical and mental health of the pet.
