A treadmill safety guard. A guard that creates a protective barrier at the rear end of the treadmill to stop a person, animal, limb or baby coming into contact with the spinning belt of the treadmill and sustaining injury.

A firm yet flexible safety guard to span the rear lower end of an exercise treadmill in order to create a protective barrier and therefore inhibit accidental contact with the moving belt of the treadmill. It is connected to the rear of the treadmill by hook and loop Velcro fasteners that are attached to the rear sides of the treadmill by adhesive backing. It is therefore removable in the event of an emergency if pulled away from the belt however strong enough to restrict movement of a person or animal moving towards belt from the rear.
