The present invention relates to a system, and to a respective method, for providing a remote assessment using echographic images in an area that does not have a health specialist, the system comprising a user station where the correct acquisition of the echographic images is ensured; a service-provider server that reconstructs (generates) 3D images; and a remote work station where a specialist can gain access to said images to make the respective assessments.
