The fault diagnosis method for a numerical control machine tool (10) comprises: a fault diagnosis apparatus (40) receives a to-be-diagnosed fault phenomenon (201) inputted by a user (60) of a user terminal (50), performs fault diagnosis on the to-be-diagnosed fault phenomenon (201), returns the fault diagnosis result (202) to the user terminal (50), receives a feedback (203) for the fault diagnosis result (202) from the user (60) of the user terminal (50), and if the feedback (203) of the user for the fault diagnosis result (202) indicates that the fault is resolved, adjusts a diagnosis policy for the to-be-diagnosed fault phenomenon (201) according to the fault diagnosis result (202).
