#$%^&*AU2018275026A120190103.pdf#####System And Method For Pattern-Recognition Based Monitoring and Controlled Processing of Data Objects Based on Conformity Measurements ABSTRACT A method for pattern-recognition based monitoring and state-transition-controlled processing of data objects based on conformity measurements, recognising, measuring and classifying automatically non-conforming workflow objects based on their measured level of nonconformity and dynamically reacting to changing environmental or internal conditions or measuring parameters, wherein the workflow of an underwriting system is monitored by capturing underwriting objects within a pathway of the underwriting process flow by means of a filtering module, wherein in the underwriting process flow for each underwriting process state one or more underwriting tasks are executed by the system in order to process the workflow object from one process state to a subsequent process state, and wherein an activation of additional process states is triggered upon the detection of non-conforming workflow objects by means of the control and monitoring system, wherein the method includes: generating a plurality of block elements based on predefined boundary conditions reflecting an overall risk and being provided by an automated underwriting system, and at least partially extracted data from historical data and/or simulated data, wherein the block elements are triggerable parts of workflow objects and comprise one or more of interconnectable search terms and/or meta-data, and wherein the block elements are assigned to a recognition block-map and stored by means of a first searchable data structure provided by a first database; providing a second database including a second searchable data structure for storing the plurality of workflow objects, and wherein the plurality of workflow objects stored within the second database are at least partly generated based on at least one of definable boundary condition parameters and historical workflow objects; capturing, by a control and monitoring system, a workflow object within the underwriting process system, wherein the control and monitoring system comprises a recognition module for content-scanning the captured workflow object to recognise the block elements of the stored recognition block-map in the captured workflow object, wherein the content scanning includes detecting that the captured workflow objection includes search terms, wherein the recognised block elements are triggered; content-scanning, for recognizing and identifying block elements by the recognition module, the captured workflow object andtriggering for block elements of the workflow objects by the stored block elements of the first searchable data structure, wherein triggered block elements of the captured workflow object are classified by means of a classification module, wherein associated entities are extracted by means of an entity module, and wherein detected search terms of the workflow object are flagged by means of a keyword flagging module; determining a respective proximity factor for each of the stored workflow objects stored in the second database relative to the block elements of the captured workflow object, wherein each proximity factor is a measure by matching recognised block elements of the captured workflow object with block elements of a workflow object of the second database, providing the measure for the proximity of the two workflow objects based on the mutually allocatable block elements; generating a conformity index which is assigned to the captured workflow object based on the recognized block elements conforming with the stored block elements of the first searchable data structure and the workflow objects of the second database, and wherein only workflow objects within a predefined range of the respective proximity factor are selected for generating the conformity index, wherein only workflow objects within a predefined range of the proximity factor are selected for generating the conformity index, and wherein the conformity index provides a measure of conformity of the captured workflow object with the predefined boundary conditions of the automated underwriting system, and triggering additional process states which are assigned to the workflow by a process management engine of the control and monitoring system when the conformity index exceeds a risk threshold value as established by a trigger module, thereby enabling technical systems to automatically control, steer and operate processed workflow objects within the underwriting process flow based on different state transitions of the captured workflow object.
