The method comprises: acquiring a target signal list of the spatial position where a terminal is currently located; searching for a wireless signal space distribution characteristic base according to the target signal list, so as to obtain an original signal list corresponding to the target signal list; and if the original signal list satisfies an updating condition, updating the original signal list according to the target signal list. Further disclosed are a server and a storage medium. The present invention can automatically update a wireless signal space distribution characteristic base and is high in efficiency and low in cost.
