Disclosed are a mobile terminal, a charging processing method for a mobile terminal, and a storage medium. The method comprises: classifying application programs in advance according to the power consumption conditions of the application programs, comprising a first-class application and a second-class application, wherein the power consumption of the second-class application is lower than the first-class application; when charging a mobile terminal, if it is detected that the mobile terminal is currently running the first-class application, then charging with a constant current; and if it is detected that the mobile terminal is currently running the second-class application, then charging with a constant voltage. The present invention can avoid the problem that temperature rises when charging with a large current and an application having high power consumption will also cause a rise in the temperature, so a charging method can avoid such an impact, thus being able control a charging temperature, facilitating protecting a mobile phone and a battery, and providing convenience for a user.
