The present invention provides a data migration method and a data migration system of an intelligent terminal. The method comprises the following steps: starting a data migration system of an intelligent terminal; selecting a target file to be migrated; selecting a target position of the migration; monitoring the size of the target file; if the size of the target file is smaller than or equal to a preset threshold, migrating the target file to the target position and storing the target file; and if the target file is greater than the preset threshold, sending out an alarm signal. According to the present invention, when a user migrates a large application file outwards, the intelligent terminal may send out an alarm signal to inform the user that the migration of the application file may cause an unsmooth feel in use of the application.
