A method for accelerating VOC degradation and generating electricity via a microbial fuel cell-photoelectrocatalytic membrane combined system, wherein a conductive substrate with two sides respectively coated with a photocatalyst layer and a PVDF composite membrane is taken as a cathode, graphite particles loaded with electricigens are taken as an anode, a resistor is externally applied, and the components are connected by means of wires so as to form a loop; and an ultraviolet lamp is taken as a light source, such that a microbial fuel cell-photoelectrocatalytic membrane combined system is thereby constructed for VOC treatment and electricity generation.
