A pyrotechnical connecting interface of a pyrotechnical vehicle safety device comprises a socket (10) which includes a housing (12) with a plug-in port (14) for accepting a plug (16), the pyrotechnical connecting interface further comprising pins (26) which end in the plug-in port (14). At least one radial undercut (42) on the inner face (32) of the peripheral wall (18) of the housing (12) is entirely closed radially outward and axially and is open only towards the plug-in port (14).
