The present invention relates to a self-healing clear coat composition with improved optical characteristics, a clear coat comprising the same, and a method for preparing the same. More specifically, a self-healing clear coat composition using a polyimide-based compound capable of forming a charge transfer complex having an interaction stronger than π-π interaction and a clear coat comprising the composition are prepared. The use of the clear coat can shorten the time for scratch healing, enable repeated healing, and improve transparency with excellent optical characteristics.
