A performance test and evaluation method and apparatus, a terminal device, and a storage medium. The performance test and evaluation method comprises: performing a performance test on a system to obtain test values of at least two performance indexes; using a standardization conversion function to standardize the test value of each performance index to obtain a standard value of the performance index; using a weighted operation algorithm to perform a weighted operation on the standard values of the at least two performance indexes to obtain a performance test and evaluation value; searching a preset evaluation score table on the basis of the performance test and evaluation value to determine an evaluation score range corresponding to the performance test and evaluation value, and obtaining a system performance evaluation result. The performance test and evaluation method can reflect system performance test conditions as a whole, and thus non-professional persons can know the system performance test conditions according to the system performance evaluation result.
