The method comprising receiving, by a server computing system, input data from each one of the nodes of the plurality of nodes of an energy network, wherein the input data of each node comprising a series of energy statistics of the node and an amount of electrical energy flowing through the node; storing the received input data associated with a node identifier in a database operatively connected to the server computing system; analyzing the stored input data regarding a first node of the plurality of nodes to make determinations as to whether the first node is functioning in accordance with a predefined criteria; and providing an indication to the first node as to whether upgrade and/or change functioning of the node and/or one or more of the electrical components based on a result of said analysis.
