SHORT-FACE COAL-PILLAR-FREE MINING METHOD HAVING ZERO GANGUE DISCHARGE

A short-face coal-pillar-free mining method having zero gangue discharge, applied to zero discharge gangue processing in a mine. The method comprises: selecting, according to actual scenarios of a mine, a region near a mine shaft, and arranging a short work face (1) in the region; using a full-mining and full-filling method to perform mining on the short work face (1); filling the short work face (1) with gangue produced from mining of other work faces in the mine; anchoring pile supports along an edge of a filling surface and a solid coal side in the short work face (1), so as to maintain a tunnel (2); and performing mining on adjacent short work faces (5) using the maintained tunnel (2). The invention maximizes resource utilization mainly by replacing the coal body with gangue, and fully controls the ceiling, thereby achieving mining of the rock layer without losses. The invention has high potential for widespread applications.
