Provided is a remotely edited card printing system, comprising one card printer, which is a printer mainly used for printing cards with a specific size. The card printer comprises one translator used for translating an upstream instruction into a printing instruction to print the required pattern or text on a card; one transceiver used for connecting a next-stage electronic information apparatus or cloud apparatus; one layout editor installed in the electronic information apparatus or the cloud apparatus; and one mobile phone end application program (APP), which is built in one mobile phone, wherein the function thereof is enabling a user to issue a layout editing instruction and a relevant printing instruction required to edit the card by means of the mobile phone, and the instructions are transmitted to the layout editor of the electronic information apparatus or the cloud apparatus, and then same are transmitted to the card printer by means of the electronic information apparatus or the cloud apparatus, and then the translator of the card printer translates the instructions into the printing instruction.
