An identification device (14) for an energy production installation (10) is described that is provided for uniquely identifying amounts of electrical energy produced by the energy production installation (10). The identification device (14) comprises a server unit (18) and at least one computer processor (20) configured to generate a digital identification for an amount of energy produced. The server unit (18) is configured to set up with further server units (18, 38) a local computer network (22) via which transactions can be managed, controlled and/or monitored locally. Further, an energy production installation (10), an energy system (34) and a method are described.
