[Problem] To provide a new method for manufacturing a decorative molded article with which it is possible to manufacture, under a manufacturing condition different than before, a decorative molded article having a light diffusion shape.[Solution] Provided is a method for manufacturing a decorative molded article by which dams 70 are first printed on a resin plate 51 that is an outer resin base material of a product forming region. Then, a film 20 partially having fine convexities, which is a mold, is pressed against an ultraviolet curing resin 60 while the ultraviolet curing resin 60, which is an uncured curable translucent resin that transmits light, is being applied between the dams 70, to cause the ultraviolet curing resin 60 to overflow outside the dams 70. The ultraviolet curing resin 60 is cured in a state in which the film 20 partially having fine convexities is pressed against the ultraviolet curing resin 60, to form a light diffusion shape in a display region by means of the mold.
