Disclosed is a method for monitoring multiple signal classification (MUSIC) corrosion based on excitation beam forming and weighted image fusion. The method targets the weakness of damaged scattered signals and influences MUSIC accuracy, and excitation beam forming and dual array are first introduced into the MUSIC method to enhance the scattered signals of corrosion damage and increase the signal to noise ratio thereof. Secondly, the dual array alternately acts as an excitation or sensing array and achieves corrosion damage monitoring in a one-dimensional linear array blind area by means of carrying out weighted fusion on corrosion damage imaging of the dual array. Finally, a corrosion damage factor based on the characteristic value of a covariance matrix of an array signal is provided and used for determining the depth of the corrosion damage. In the present invention, location accuracy of MUSIC corrosion monitoring is increased, a monitoring area of a conventional one-dimensional linear array is expanded, and an evaluation of the depth of the corrosion damage is implemented, such that the present method has broad application prospects for the method for monitoring corrosion damage of an actual aviation structure.
