Disclosed is a method for aiding the detection of Alzheimer's disease that aids highly accurate detection of Alzheimer's disease. The method for aiding the detection of Alzheimer's disease uses, as an indicator, the amount present in a test sample isolated from a living subject of at least one molecule from an miRNA, or the like, for which the base sequence is identified by any sequence from among SEQ ID NOs: 1–85. When the amount of at least one miRNA, or the like, for which the base sequence is identified by any sequence from among SEQ ID NOs: 1–22 and 66–71 is higher than that of a healthy subject, or when the amount of at least one miRNA, or the like, for which the base sequence is identified by any sequence from among SEQ ID NOs: 23–65 and 72–85 is lower than that of a healthy subject, there is a high possibility of developing Alzheimer's disease.
