A method, device and system for identifying OSD sub-health. A primary OSD of the data storage system that processes a read/write data request reports the delay of a secondary OSD that processes the read/write data request to a management node in the system, and the management node determines which OSDs in the system are in the sub-health state according to the received report message. Because the collected data is more comprehensive, the management node can more accurately determine the sub-health OSDs in the system.
