A wire rope (1) with resin wire is provided with: a wire rope main body (2) wherein a plurality of strands is twisted; and at least one resin wire (3) wound in a spiral shape on the wire rope main body (2) along recessed parts between the strands. In a hole (111) for winding in a mold (110) with resin wire winding for winding the resin wire (3) on the wire rope main body (2), a strand groove (112) wherein a strand can be fitted and a resin wire groove (113) wherein the resin wire (3) can be fitted are formed in a spiral shape along the twisting of the wire rope (1) with resin wire. Thus, the resin wire (3) can easily and reliably be attached to the wire rope main body (2) when manufacturing the wire rope (1) with the resin wire.
