SYSTEM FOR INTEGRATED CONCEPTUAL RESERVOIR PLANNING

The claimed invention relates to holistic systems and methods for planning hydrocarbon reservoirs, and can be used at different stages in the implementation of oil or gas field development projects. The claimed invention addresses the technical problem of overcoming the disadvantages inherent in the prior art, and more particularly addresses the problem of the lack of an integrated system that allows a single optimal reservoir plan to be generated based on the use of a body of preliminary data characterizing a producing formation, wellbores, and ground infrastructure, as well as financial indicators and economic conditions. The need for the claimed invention is also dictated by the decrease in known reserves and the bringing into development of new areas characterized by a high degree of difficulty and uncertainty; the development of new reservoirs having poor infrastructure; the bringing into development of a large number of sites, and the need to provide reliable data about emerging reservoir projects in the early stages of planning in order to minimize the cost of alterations to a project.
