The present invention relates to a method for detecting the same regions of interest in images of the same object taken with a temporal interval, and an apparatus using the method. In particular, the method according to the present invention acquires a first image, and a second image taken after a temporal interval from when the first image was taken, and, when an area of interest is set on the first image, a computing apparatus detects, as the same area of interest, an area of interest in the second image which is the same as said area of interest, or supports so that the detection is by means of an apparatus linked to the computing apparatus.
