An experimental simulation apparatus for a submarine oil spill behavior of an ocean thermocline and a control method, relating to the technical field of marine oil spill practice early warning and forecasting and the technical field of ocean environment monitoring. The experimental simulation apparatus for a submarine oil spill behavior of an ocean thermocline comprises an oil spill simulation device, a thermocline simulation device, an ultraviolet fluorescent photographing device, and a container (300) for accommodating liquid to simulate a submarine oil spill behavior. The oil spill simulation device is used for simulating a submarine oil spill accident; the thermocline simulation device is used for simulating a physical form of a submarine thermocline; the ultraviolet fluorescent photographing device is used for recording experimental data. The simulating a submarine oil spill accident and the simulating a physical form of a submarine thermocline are both carried out in the container. The experimental simulation apparatus resolves the technical problem in the prior art of the difficulty in accurately simulating, by means of experimental settings, the situation that a submarine oil spill accident occurs in a thermocline.
