The invention relates to a method for transferring heat using a heat transfer facility containing a heat transfer composition, said heat transfer composition comprising a refrigerant, which comprises 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, and a lubricant. According to the invention, the lubricant comprises a polyol ester, and the solubility of the 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene in the lubricant at 0°C and at an absolute pressure of 2.2 bar is less than the solubility of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane in the lubricant at 0°C and at an absolute pressure of 2.0 bar. The method of the invention comprises the successive steps of: evaporating a refrigerant; superheating the refrigerant; and compressing the refrigerant.
