A kit of parts for a piling apparatus suitable for forming impressions in different diameter bores is disclosed. The kit comprises a piling apparatus (101), the piling apparatus also comprising an actuation assembly (102). The kit further comprises multiple sets of impression-forming elements (104, 105), each set being moveable by a displacement stroke of the actuation assembly between a retracted configuration in which the apparatus can move along the bore, and an extended configuration in which the impression-forming elements extend outwards to form an impression in the side of the bore. Each set, when actuated under the displacement stroke of the actuation assembly, extends to a different diameter than the other, and each set is therefore configured for operation in a different diameter bore.
