A device for increasing a virtual reality field of view and virtual reality glasses, the device comprising: LED lamps (1), an LED diffuser plate (2), and an LED lamp fixing frame (3). The LED lamp fixing frame (3) is provided with lens holes (4) matched with the size of the lenses of the virtual reality glasses. The LED lamps (1) are fixed on the LED lamp fixing frame (3), and are arranged on the side of the virtual reality glasses where the image is produced. The side of the LED lamp fixing frame (3) having the LED lamps (1) is provided with an LED diffuser plate (2), which is used to scatter the light emitted by the LED lamps (1). The purpose of increasing the field of view is achieved, thus increasing the user's sense of immersion during use and having the technological effect of a better visual experience.
