A picture drawing method and related products. The method is applied to a mobile terminal, and the mobile terminal includes a graphics splicing program interface OpenGL ES. The method comprises: dividing image data of a target picture into a plurality of data modules according to a preset policy; initiating a plurality of threads to respectively perform data write operations of the plurality of data modules, with the plurality of threads being threads other than a GL thread invoked by the OpenGL ES; and performing a drawing operation for the target picture by using the plurality of data modules that complete the data write operations by means of the GL thread. The present application facilitates the solving of the problem of uneven picture display, thereby improving the speed of a mobile terminal drawing a picture, and reducing the time taken for picture drawing.
