Provided in the present invention are a fuzzy control-based saturation enhancement method and device. The fuzzy control-based saturation enhancement method comprises: outputting an enhancement weight according to the saturation component, brightness component and detail information or the saturation component, intensity component and detail information of an input image by using a fuzzy system, and feeding back the enhancement weight to an enhancement function, thereby changing the enhancement strength of the saturation component. Thus, color uncertainty caused by saturation enhancement may be avoided, and the loss of detail information during the saturation enhancement is reduced.
