A method for measuring the heterogeneous content of a finite-thickness material based on a virtual heat source principle, which falls within the technical field of material testing and analysis. By means of the measuring method, a virtual heat source principle is used to improve the traditional heat impulse method for measuring the heterogeneous content; and infinite virtual heat sources with two different strengths are established to compensate for the heat dissipation effect of heat dissipation outer boundaries of two sides of a finite-thickness sheet-shaped measured material, and the volume heat capacity of the measured material and the heterogeneous content thereof are obtained by carrying out matching, optimization and resolving based on four parameters. The heat transfer model used in the method takes full consideration of the heat dissipation effect of heat dissipation outer boundaries of two sides of a heat transfer medium, the requirement on the outer profile dimension of a measured material is only a finite-thickness flat sheet-shaped material, and the length dimension of the material in the thickness direction is not required; and the heat dissipation condition of the two heat dissipation boundaries of the measured material also does not need to be limited. Therefore, the measuring method solves the problem of accurate measurement of the heterogeneous content of a thickness-insufficient sheet-shaped measured material.
