A sound-transmission LED display screen applied to a large-sized LED screen and a sound transmission method, the display screen comprising a PCB (1) and a plurality of light-emitting pixels (2) provided on the PCB (1), wherein the light-emitting pixels (2) are surface-mounted light-emitting diodes and are fixed to a light-emitting surface (3) of the PCB (1) by means of adhesion; each adjacent four light-emitting pixels (2) form a group and adhere to the light-emitting surface (3) of the PCB (1) in the shape of a diamond; and a sound-transmission hole (5) penetrating through the PCB (1) is provided in the middle of each adjacent four light-emitting pixels (2). By means of the sound-transmission LED display screen according to the present invention, the areas of the sound-transmission holes (5) are greatly increased, and the sound-transmission holes (5) are provided by fully using the limited space between each light-emitting pixel (2), and thus a good sound transmission effect is achieved, and the wire distribution of the light-emitting pixels (2) is not affected, while the sound transmission rate is good.
