A multilayer structure serves as a geomembrane and contains a barrier layer (A), an adhesive layer (B) comprising an acid-modified thermoplastic resin, and a thermoplastic resin layer (C), wherein the thermoplastic resin layer (C) is laminated on at least one side of the barrier layer (A) with the adhesive layer (B) interposed therebetween, and the barrier layer (A) has an ethylene unit content of 18 mol% to 55 mol%, inclusive, and contains a modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer containing a modifying group having a primary hydroxyl group. Said geomembrane exhibits superior peel strength between the barrier layer and the adhesive layer, and peel strength is further improved after prolonged exposure to high temperature and high humidity conditions.
