An apparatus for playing a game of chance in which at least one player selects betting options in advance of game play, the apparatus including: a primary electronic display including an array of indicia selected from one or more of numbers, symbols, shapes, icons, colours or characters, arranged to enable a player to exercise betting options associated with indicia selections; a roulette wheel, in association with the primary electronic display; the primary electronic display providing at least one primary playing field and including an array of said indicia selected from one or more of said numbers, symbols, shapes, icons, colours or characters, including any combination of said indicia, numbers, shapes, symbols, icons colours, characters, and; a secondary playing field provided outside the primary playing field, the secondary playing field providing betting options for said at least one player.
